The short version

Tour and activity cards on this site link to GetYourGuide or Viator. Hotel links, the see stays buttons on where to stay, go through Stay22, which forwards you to Booking.com or another booking site and pays us a commission on the same terms. The airport transfer page also carries a Welcome Pickups link through Travelpayouts. If you book after clicking one, the platform pays us a commission out of its own margin. Your price is identical either way, and clicking costs you nothing. Official ticket points, such as the Schilthorn cableway's own fare page and the Jungfraujoch's own prices page, carry no tracking and earn nothing. Tiqets is not currently placed on this site.

We are not a tour operator or a travel agency. We sell nothing, take no payments and act as nobody's agent.

Who does what

We compare listings and link out. The platform takes your payment, issues the voucher and handles customer service; the company named on the listing runs the actual cableway ride, train journey or guided tour. If a departure is cancelled, a train is suspended for weather or a cableway closes for maintenance, that is resolved between you, the platform and the operator under their policies. We have no standing in that conversation and cannot refund or reschedule anything.

At the operator's own ticket point, such as Trümmelbach Falls at the gate or the Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch fare pages, you pay the operator directly, and those links here carry no tracking and earn us nothing.

What the commission does not buy

Placement, ratings, wording. Nobody has paid to appear on this site or to be described in a particular way, and no operator sees a page before it is published.

The test is on the pages themselves: several of the most useful pages here point you to the operator's own fare page, which pays us nothing, rather than a booking platform that would. Where a guided tour is worth its markup over the plain ticket, such as guaranteed boarding on a busy Schilthorn day, we say why in the same terms: time saved or a queue avoided, not a vague recommendation.

Ratings and reviews

Every rating and review count shown on a tour card is the platform's own published number, read on the date printed with it. We calculate no rating of our own, this site carries no aggregate rating of its own in its markup since it has no reviews, and we write no testimonials. Quoted reviews are real four and five star excerpts kept as published, with the source.

Prices

Tour prices here are the listing's own published rate at the last check. Ticket prices are the operator's own rate, dollar first with the Swiss franc figure in brackets at the rate stated on the page, on the date shown. Both move: platforms reprice and Swiss operators publish a new tariff each year, and the Jungfraujoch in particular runs a date-priced fare with no single fixed figure.

The number that counts is the one on the checkout page or the operator's own calculator before you pay. When it disagrees with ours, the checkout is right and we would like to know.
